Support a girl through secondary school

Give $30 a month (or $250 a year) to Room to Read's Girls' Education Program, funding mentoring, life-skills classes, tuition, uniforms, books and transport so a girl can stay in secondary school. The programme pairs each girl with a trained mentor who tracks her progress and helps address problems before they force her to drop out.

Our take

More specific than a general sponsorship: this funds the practical things that actually keep a girl in secondary school — mentoring, uniforms, books, transport — rather than broader community development.
