Americares is a disaster-response and global-health nonprofit providing emergency medical aid and ongoing access to medicine and medical supplies in crisis and under-resourced settings worldwide. It has reported a 4-star Charity Navigator rating in multiple consecutive years, most recently confirmed in a 2023 press release, and states it received about $1.9 billion in total donations (including in-kind product gifts) in a December 2025 release, ranking among the largest US charities by donations received.
