Fund emergency health care in crisis zones

International Medical Corps provides emergency health care, training and infrastructure in conflict zones, disaster areas and underserved regions worldwide. CharityWatch gave it an "A" Top-Rated grade, with around 87-88% of spending going to programmes. The organisation states that every $1 in private donations leverages an average of $30 in additional public grants and in-kind support, and it is a member of the BBB Wise Giving Alliance.

Our take

That "$30 leveraged per $1" figure is the organisation's own, not independently audited — a real sign of institutional scale (it works alongside large public grants), but treat the exact multiplier as a claim rather than a verified number, the same caveat we'd apply to similar self-reported figures elsewhere on this site.
